How Well Is Your Business Travelling?
We are almost halfway into this tax year and it is a good time to review some of the goals we set for ourselves and to check progress. As we have said preciously, goals need to specific, measurable, achievable, relevant to the business and supported by the key stake holders. Being specific and measurable, it is relatively easy to check progress. How well are you going? Far exceeded the expectations, cruising or below target? In any event it is good to review the goals. Seasonal variations could be distorting the results and reviewing these goals with this in mind will help bring needed correction.
This is also a good time to carry out a Mini Business Review. How often should you carry out a business review? Experts suggest that all businesses should carry out a business review at least half-yearly. What is a business review? A business review encompasses all the elements included in a Business Plan.
